KICC is located off the A12/M11 Link Road in Hackney. Please park in the car parks before you reach the main building to avoid traffic congestion. |
From Finsbury Park:
Take Bus 253 or British Rail to Hackney Central then change to Bus W15 or 236 and alight at the bus stop nearest to Waterden Road. |
From The East:
Take the Tube to Stratford (Central Line) then change to Bus 308, or take the Tube to Leyton (Central Line) then change to take the Bus W15 and alight at the bus stop nearest to Waterden Road. |
From The West End:
Take Bus 30 to Morning Lane then change to bus W15 or 236 and alight at the bus stop nearest to Waterden Road. |
From The South:
Take the Tube to Bethnal Green (Central Line) then take Bus 253, 106 or D6 to Hackney Central then change to take Bus W15 or 236 and alight at the bus stop nearest to Waterden Road. |
From The North:
Take the North London Line (Silverlink - British Rail) to Hackney Central then change to take Bus W15 or 236 and alight at the bus stop nearest to Waterden Road. |
Free Shuttle Service:
A shuttle service will be running for this event. Pick up points are situated at Stratford Bus/Train Station and Tesco Supermarket (Morning Lane, Hackney). From Monday to Saturday, the shuttle starts at 8.30am then every 15 minutes until the last shuttle leaves at 10.45am. The afternoon shuttle starts at 1.00pm and then every 15 minutes until the last shuttle leaves at 2.45pm. The evening shuttle starts at 5.00pm and continues every 15 minutes until the last shuttle at 8.00pm. On Sundays, only the morning and evening shuttles run. The shuttles will return to the pick up points after each service. |
Access to Waterden Road:
Access to Waterden Road via private and public transport will be affected by road closures due to the 2012 London Olympic Games preparation. Affected areas will include Carpenters Road, Marshgate Lane, Pudding Mill Lane, Temple Mills Lane, Homerton Road and Ruckholt Road. There will be no pedestrian access to Waterden Road via Carpenters Road.
